Scope of Services

Scope of ServicesOur Security and Vehicle Services Division and Boundary Crossing Facilities and Transport Services Division together provide a wide range of project engineering and support services that help maintain the efficient and reliable operations of Hong Kong's disciplinary forces. Ranging from the Police, Fire Services and Immigration to the Correctional Services, Customs and Excise and the ICAC, the list has also included the Chinese People's Liberation Army Forces Hong Kong since 1997.

Services are both diverse and highly specialised, ranging from general electrical & mechanical, air-conditioning building services to vehicle fleet maintenance for the specialist security vehicles, fire engines and ambulances that play such a crucial role in Hong Kong's emergency services. Vehicle recovery and stand-by services also provide road support to the Police and Fire Services during typhoons and other emergency situations, while our support of their electronic systems, trunk radio and field communication systems and central control centres ensure that Hong Kong's emergency services have access to effective electronic communications systems at all times. Other unique and specialist areas of expertise include mobilisation and control systems, rescue and emergency equipment, fire-fighting equipment and systems, TV and X-ray surveillance at border control points as well as the Hong Kong Police's indoor shooting range.

Scope of ServicesWe also work closely with customers in identifying new technology and installations, to constantly upgrade the infrastructure systems and equipment that will improve their operations and efficiency. A simple remote control system to open the front gates at fire stations significantly increased efficiency and the speed of response to emergency calls for fire services while the design and installation of independent ventilation systems at immigration booths significantly improved the quality of air for staff at the Lok Ma Chau Border.

To meet the rapid growth of vehicular and passenger traffic, the infrastructures at border control points have been continuously expanding. These include large scale X-ray vehicle inspection systems, mobile x-ray vehicle inspection systems, and automatic vehicle recognition systems. To give customers a total peace of mind, maintenance and supporting services are provided once the facilities are put into operation.
