Scope of Services

Scope of ServicesOur Boundary Crossing Facilities and Transport Services Division provides operation, maintenance, project consultancy and management, and operator monitoring services for the majority of Hong Kong's transport infrastructures. It covers comprehensive spectrum of E&M, building services and electronic systems in the complex infrastructure networks, such as that for government tunnels, Tsing Ma and Tsing Sha Control Area. Besides, we are responsible for maintaining about 1,900 traffic controllers at road junctions and engineering facilities for footbridge and subway, as well as traffic control and surveillance systems in the Territory.

Other than the above services for Transport Department and Highways Department, we assist our customers in the application of innovation and technology (I&T). In partnership with Highways Department, we designed and installed an "Advance Flooding Warning Systems" for major subways and underpasses to provide automatic early flooding warning through wireless technology.

In addition to extensive operation and maintenance experience, our in-depth knowledge in Hong Kong environment, local laws and process requirements allow us to deliver specialised project services to Transport Department and Highways Department. We provide professional project management and consultancy services across the entire project life cycle, including feasibility studies, system design, tendering, site supervision, system commissioning and contract administration. We focus on the electrical, mechanical, electronic and information communication technology (ICT) systems for transport infrastructures. To support Hong Kong smart city development, we are also actively involved in the “Smart Mobility” projects in Hong Kong.

Our Security and Vehicle Services Division also provides electronics maintenance services in over 300 sewage treatment facilities managed by Sewage Treatment Divisions 1 & 2 of Drainage Services Department (DSD). In addition, we provide project management and consultancy services on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to DSD for assisting their business processes improvement and equipment renewal by utilising ICT, with an ultimate aim of providing reliable and cost effective sewage treatment services to the public.
