Prescribed Qualifications for Each Class of Gas Installation Work

Class 1

VTC Gas Utilisation Module 1 and 3 months relevant practical experience.

Class 2

VTCGas Utilisation Module 2 and 6 months relevant practical experience.

Class 3

VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 2 & 3 and 18 months relevant practical experience.

Class 4

VTC Gas Utilisation Module 4 and 24 months relevant practical experience.

Class5

VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 2 & 5 and 6 months relevant practical experience.

Class 6

VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 2, 5 & 6 and 18 months relevant practical experience.

Class 7

VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 4 & 7; or VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 2, 5, 6 & 7; and 24 months relevant practical experience.

Class 8

VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 2, 5, 6 & 8; or VTC Gas Utilisation Modules 4, 7 & 8; and 24 months relevant practical experience.

Note :

1. "VTC" means the Vocational Training Council established by section 4 of the Vocational Training Council Ordinance (Cap. 1130).
2. Other qualifications not less than those prescribed above may be deemed suitable for registration.
