As a regulator of Hong Kong's public safety on electricity, lifts and escalators, gas, amusement rides, builder's lifts and tower working platforms, members of the public are required to submit applications to EMSD for registration as qualified workers/contractors, for endorsement of test certificates and for carrying out specified works under the relevant statutory controls.

We accept electronic submission of applications through the Internet for selected services. The forms and any other information/data submitted will be transferred and stored by electronic means, which will be handled securely to ensure privacy, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of data.
