The International Meeting of Technical Authorities for Cableways (ITTAB) is an international, non-commercial and closed-door meeting of technical supervisory authorities and bodies in charge of ensuring the safety of cableways.
The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) organized the 71st ITTAB from 17th to 21st September 2023. The event gathered 29 international experts from 13 jurisdictions to exchange the latest information on cableways with representatives of the EMSD. Participants also discussed the latest technological developments in cableways, international standards, and the replacement guidelines for critical cable car components.
