CLP Power Hong Kong Limited's Power Supply System Review Results Report

In 2024, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP) experienced a number of voltage dip incidents and power outages. The Government had previously requested CLP to allocate resources for an independent consultant engaged by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), to conduct a comprehensive examination of the causes of all voltage dips and power supply interruption incidents in the past three years and the capability of the entire power system to withstand the impact of external factors, and provide comprehensive recommendations on how to enhance the stability and reliability of the power supply.
