You may submit the completed Form GF1 (together with photocopies of the required documents) and pay the application fee# via the following ways:

1. in person at the Registration and Permit Office;
2. by post; or
3. by the drop-in box located at G/F lobby of EMSD Headquarters, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon Bay (when available).

For FiT applications on or after 1 September 2021, when requesting a power company to install a FiT meter, the applicant shall provide a receipt of generating facility issued by EMSD to the power company to prove the generating facility that required for registration has submitted an application in accordance with the Electricity Ordinance (Cap.406). After completing the installation of the FiT meter and receiving the generating facility/system completion letter issued by a power company, the applicant shall then submit a copy of generating facility/system completion letter to EMSD in order to complete the registration of generating facility.
