The scope of works includes the provision of Privacy Impact Assessments on the Trial Average Speed Camera System.

The Contract is expected to commence in May 2013 and be completed by August 2014.

Tenderers who have experience in projects of similar nature are invited to tender.

In the event a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or rainstorm black warning is hoisted between 9:00a.m. and 12:00noon on the closing date, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12:00noon on the first working day of the following week. An announcement of the change will be made through the radio.

Tenders must be clearly marked with the tender reference and the subject of the tender on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) put into the "Tender Box No. 1 – For EMSD Works Tenders only" located in the entrance foyer of Electrical and Mechanical Services Department Headquarters, G/F, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region does not bind itself to accept any tender irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or, where the assessment of the tenders is based on a formula approach, the tender has the highest overall mark.

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer about the terms of the offer.
