Supply and Installation of Beam Lights at Tamar Central Government Offices and Revenue Tower

Description

The scope of the works includes supply and installation of new beam lights as well as lighting control system including all software together with associated accessories in Tamar Central Government Offices and Revenue Tower.  The Contract is scheduled to commence in April 2018 for completion in June 2018.

Contractors Invited to Tender

(a) Selective tendering is adopted.

(b) Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of Electrical Installation (Group III), who also meet following qualifications and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents, are invited to tender:

(1) The tenderers has completed contracts of stage/ beam lighting installations with a total aggregate contract value of not less than HK$1 million within the 5 years period immediately preceding the tender closing date specified in the letter of invitation to tender regardless of any subsequent extension.

(2) The tenderers shall submit the duly-signed Appendix VII to General Conditions of Tender and provide the letter of intent issued by the selected Sub-contractor.

Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the list of approved contractors if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.

Closing Date/Time

If a black rainstorm warning signal or a tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above is in force at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Friday, 23 March 2018, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12:00 noon on the first working day after the black rainstorm warning signal has ceased to be in effect or the tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 is lowered.

Submission of Tender

Sealed tenders in duplicate must be clearly marked with the tender reference and the subject of the tender on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) addressed to the Chairman, Public Works Tender Board and placed in the Public Works Tender Box situated in Room 4128f, 41st Floor of the Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong by 12:00 noon, Friday, 23 March 2018. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Remarks
  1. This tender is not covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization.
  2. A charge will be levied for delivery of tender documents where the delivery of tender documents is requested by a tenderer. A written request must be made.
  3. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region does not bind itself to accept any tender irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or, where the assessment of tenders is based on a marking scheme or formula approach, the tender with the highest overall score.
  4. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer about the terms of the offer.
