Triennial Term Contract for Maintenance and Repair of Electrical and Floodlight Installations for Hong Kong Police Force, Correctional Services Department, Highways Department, Transport Department, Hong Kong Independent Commision Against Corruption and Security Bureau in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

The scope of Works includes maintenance, repair, alterations, additions and improvement works for electrical and floodlight installations for Hong Kong Police Force, Correctional Services Department, Highways Department, Transport Department, Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption and Security Bureau in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  The Contract is scheduled to commence in March 2019 for expiry in February 2022.

Selective tendering is adopted.  Confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Electrical Installation (Group III)”, or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Electrical Installation (Group III)”, who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Electrical Installation (Group III)” may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 22 August 2018 to Mr. TANG Kin-leung, Transport, Security and Central Services Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 6th Floor, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and their application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.  Details for making the application are available at:

Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the approved list(s) if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.

1. This tender is covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization and will not involve electronic auction. This notice also serves as a summary notice required under the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization.
