Description | The scope of the Works includes maintenance and repair of lift installations in various premises of the Hospital Authority. The Contract Period is scheduled to commence in May 2019 for expiry in April 2022. |
Contractors Invited to Tender | Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyor Installation” or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyor Installation” who also meet the following qualifications and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender. 1. A tenderer must be a registered lift contractor under the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance (Chapter 618 of the Laws of Hong Kong); and Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of “Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyor Installation” may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 8 February 2019 to Ms CHAN Lee-ting, Jo, Health Sector Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 6th Floor, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date. Submission of Tender | Sealed tender in triplicate must be clearly marked with the tender reference and the subject of the tender on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) addressed to the Chairman, Public Works Tender Board and placed in the Public Works Tender Box situated in Room 4128f, 41st Floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong, before 12:00 noon on Friday, 15 Feb 2019. Late tenders will not be accepted. |
