The scope of works for this contract includes the maintenance, repair, alterations, additions and improvement for broadcast reception installation and satellite master antenna television system for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The works are scheduled to commence in December 2015 for completion in November 2018.

Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Broadcast Reception Installation" or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Broadcast Reception Installation" who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Broadcast Reception Installation" may still submit a tender, provided they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 1 July 2015 to Mr. CHEUNG Lap-hung, General Engineering Services Division, 6th Floor, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and their application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
