Four-Year Term Contract for the Maintenance of Fixed X-ray Vehicle Inspection System at Lok Ma Chau Boundary Crossing

The scope of works includes maintenance, refurbishment, modification and overhaul services of fixed x-ray vehicle inspection system at Lok Ma Chau Boundary Crossing for the Customs and Excise Department. The contract period is 48 months and the Contract is scheduled to commence in August 2017.

Open tendering is adopted. Contractors who meet the following qualifications and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender:-

Contractor must have completed contracts with an aggregate contract value of not less than HK$20 million in maintenance of fixed x-ray vehicle scanning system with high energy X-ray of not less than 9MeV radiation within the 5-year period immediately preceding the tender closing date

If a black rainstorm warning signal or tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above is in force at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Friday, 26 May 2017, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12:00 noon on the first working day after the black rainstorm warning signal has ceased to be in effect or the tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 is lowered.
