Description This Contract calls for the supply and installation of an Integrated Telecommunication Systems in North Lantau Hospital. The Contract period is 365 days and it is anticipated that the Works will commence in mid June 2012.

Contractors on the List of Approved Contractors for Public Works for "Radio Electronics Installation" or "Audio Electronics Installation" are invited to tender.
Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the approved list if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.

Closing Date/Time

Closing date for the submission of tender is 25th May 2012.
In the event a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is hoisted between 9 am and 12 pm on the closing date, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12 pm on the first working day of the following week. An announcement of the change will be made through the radio.

Working Hours :
(i) Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 12:00noon and 1:00pm to 6:00pm
(ii) Friday 8:30am to 12:15pm and 1:15pm to 5:00pm
(iii) Saturday and Public Holidays Closed
Submission of Tender Tenders must be clearly marked with the tender reference and the subject of the tender on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) addressed to the Chairman, Public Works Tender Board, and placed in the Public Works Tender Box situated in Room 4128f on the 41st Floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Remarks
  1. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region does not bind itself to accept any tender (or any application for prequalification, as appropriate) irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or, where the assessment of the tenders is based on a marking scheme or formula approach, the tender has the highest overall mark.
