Solar control window film

Solar control window film rejects heat and ultraviolet radiation but allows visible light to enter

Solar control window films are very thin polyester-based products which are coated and laminated with different types of metals. They are installed on the interior side of the window, and reduce the amount of solar energy (UV radiation, visible light and infra-red heat) entering the room by increasing the solar reflection and solar absorption of the glass. Solar control window films thus reduce heat gain, block UV radiation, and moderate the amount of visible light and glare entering the room.

Window film can reduce the air conditioning cooling load of a building in summer. In winter, when the temperatures are lower outside than inside the room, solar control window film can help prevent heat loss by lowering the emissivity of the glass by reflecting the heat back into the room.
