Note:-

 Based on classifications before 1 April 2010 as follow :

* Washing Machine Category:

1 = Horizontal drum with built-in water-heating device.
2 = Impeller or agitator, with built-in water-heating device.
3 = Impeller or agitator, without built-in water heating device.

# Based on revised classification starting from 1 April 2010. Details please refer to scheme document.

* Washing Machine Category:

1 = Horizontal drum
2 = Impeller or agitator

@ Based on revised new classifications and new derivation of the energy efficiency grades starting from 1 July 2016. Details please refer to the scheme document.

* New classifications:

1 = Horizontal axis washing machine.
2 = Vertical axis washing machine
