Supporting Mega Events

Leveraging its rich project management experience, the EMSTF provides round-the-clock E&M support for various mega events, ensuring stable operation of the E&M equipment at venues and smooth running of the events.

In 2025, Hong Kong co-hosted the 15th National Games for the first time. The EMSD mobilised more than 500 personnel to provide technical support for multiple venues, ensuring the competitions ran smoothly.

Over the years, the EMSD has provided technical support for various elections, ensuring smooth voting and counting processes. We assisted in setting up four near-boundary polling stations for the 2023 District Council Ordinary Election. For the 2025 Legislative Council General Election, we provided technical support for the E&M equipment and power supply at polling stations.

The Lunar New Year (LNY) fairs are major traditional annual highlights in Hong Kong. We developed the LNY Fairs Monitoring System to monitor electricity consumption at stalls, effectively mitigating overload risks. The system also performs intelligent footfall monitoring and analysis, significantly enhancing overall venue management efficiency.
