Traditional vehicles use gasoline as the energy source while electric vehicles use electric motors as their main drive unit with electricity as the energy source. Electricity is stored inside the rechargeable battery installed with the electric vehicles, in which regular recharging the battery at charging station is required. The major benefit of electric vehicles are using electric motors to drive and involve no combustion of fuel. Therefore, electric vehicles are quite quiet and zero emission in operation. It helps to improve road side air quality.
