The turnover for the General Engineering Services last year (1.8.96 - 31.3.97) was $340M with Architectural Services Department and Government Property Agency being two of the major customers.





The scope of business covers (i) the maintenance of building services installations such as air-conditioning, lifts, escalators, electrical, mechanical and fire services installations in government buildings, government leased buildings, and military buildings; (ii) the design and construction of fitting-out works for government office accommodation; (iii) the retrofitting of air-conditioning systems for government buildings to phase out the use of ozone depleting refrigerants.

Other services under this category include maintenance of a wide range of electrical, mechanical and air-conditioning equipment, including emergency generators and water pumps for government departments not covered by the Health Services, Municipal Services, and the Transport & Security Services groups.
