EMSTF provides project management services to all government departments and autonomous bodies on the design of electrical, mechanical and electronic plant and equipment, preparation of tender specifications and drawings, tendering, procurement, tender evaluation, contract administration, site supervision, testing and commissioning of these systems and equipment.

EMSTF has also been engaged in providing other specific services such as feasibility studies, special investigations, providing technical advice and consultant management.

The number of projects handled in 96/97 under this service category exceeded 1,400 with a total project value over $3,800M. Revenue generated from project and consultant management services amounted to $33M for the period between 1.8.96 and 31.3.97.
