Quality E&M Services to New Customs & Excise Headquarters The new Customs & Excise (C&E) Headquarters in North Point was officially opened in February 2011. The 32-storey, 41,000-square metre building will enable more than 1,800 C&E officials to operate from the same base rather than at scattered locations as in the past. The new headquarters comes with advanced facilities to expedite the department's work. |

| Responding to advances in information and telecommunication technologies since the project began in 2007, the functionality and stability of the building's electronic and E&M provisions are enhanced, including the simulated firing range and audio-visual facilities. Energy savings have also been achieved through the adoption of intelligently controlled E&M installations. A resident team is now deployed to provide round-the-clock maintenance services to ensure all systems perform optimally. | |
