Many of you responded to our article on IAQ last time - thank you for your interest. We hope you will enjoy our feature on Energy Efficiency in this issue just as much. Both these new service areas reflect EMSD's commitment to providing useful and helpful services to meet new developments and trends in the community.

It is hard to imagine that it is already a year since the first issue of Voicelink was published. Then, we were all preoccupied with the advent of the new Millennium and the Y2K problem. With the close of the first year in the Millennium, all of us at EMSD would like to take this opportunity to wish you the Merriest of Christmases and the Happiest of New Years.
