The HKPF has been a long-term partner of the EMSD. In early 2025, two HKPF delegations visited the EMSD Headquarters (EMSD HQs) to exchange insights on the application and development of E&M innovative technologies. On 5 February, Mr Chan Joon-sun, Johnson, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Management), led a delegation to the EMSD HQs to understand energy-saving solutions and explore collaboration opportunities in the I&T area between the two departments. Subsequently on 4 March, led by Ms Lee Nga-lai, Alice, Chief Superintendent of Police (Planning and Development), another delegation explored the application prospect and opportunities of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics and ai Store.

The EMSD and the HKPF have been maintaining close co-operation over the years. On 25 March 2025, the HKPF renewed its six-year Service Level Agreement (SLA) effective from 1 April with the EMSTF. As the HKPF continues to expand its E&M facilities and vehicle fleet, the demand for related maintenance services is rising. The EMSD remains committed to striving for excellence and delivering high-quality, effective and energy-efficient E&M services.
