In compliance with the requirements of the Digital Policy Office’s Baseline IT Security Policy (S17) and IT Security Guidelines (G3), the EMSD has developed an eSurvey platform which stores collected data exclusively on departmental servers instead of public cloud storage, with a view to minimising cyber risks and safeguarding data security.
With its user-friendly interface, eSurvey allows users to effortlessly create professional electronic forms and design flexible data collection templates, replacing traditional paper-based workflow. Questionnaires can be distributed to multiple recipients simultaneously via email or internal communication systems, facilitating instant data collection and quick analysis. Furthermore, having obtained ISO 27701 Privacy Information Management System certification, eSurvey provides a secure and efficient data collection solution for the EMSD and its client departments. In particular, the Drainage Services Department has successfully utilised this software solution to collect data effectively and securely.
