According to the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance (“the Ordinance”), when there is a lift incident belonging to a type as listed in Schedule 7 of the Ordinance, the Responsible Person of the lift must inform EMSD within 24 hours after the incident comes to the Responsible Person's knowledge.
