things often raise new expectations. The articles
in this issue of "VoiceLink" almost all
center around the "new" aspects of EMSD.
The new headquarters building showcases a myriad
of new facilities and new concepts, rightly reflecting
the department's further strengthening capability
and enhancement in customer service quality. The
Service Development Unit, armed with a new and expanded
Data Centre plus other advanced supporting equipment,
is all geared up to broaden the scope of IT Service
and meet challenges brought about by ever increasing
demand of the customers. The Vehicle Engineering
Sub-division remains steadfast in its strategy of
diversification, developing new service whilst acquiring
new clients. The Airport Engineering Service Sub-division
is too full of confidence after regaining a number
of contracts, ready to conquer new heights.
Yet behind all this "new" lies only one goal: to continuously accumulate
new experience, create new ideas, ultimately sharing such experience and ideas
with our customers and ensuring ever improving service. This has always been
our aspiration. We sincerely hope our customers will share our goal and join
hands with us in accomplishing this goal.
