The success of EMSD in information technology is further boosted by signing new Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the Drainage Services Department and Water Supplies Department, which is a true testimony of the professionalism and competence of EMSD.

In the five-year SLA with the Drainage Services Department, the IT experts of EMSD will upgrade the existing sewage facilities monitoring and control system, and are responsible for the system design, construction and technical support on related software and hardware applications to ensure effective sewage treatment and facility operations.

The other two-year SLA with the Water Supplies Department requires EMSD to study and analyse the performance of the Customer Care and Billing System that is currently in use, and recommend improvements in view of ever-increasing demand on data processing and exchange. It is expected that the new and optimised system will enable our client department to take a further step in providing more efficient and comprehensive customer services.
