Mr Poon Kwok-ying, Raymond has been appointed as Acting Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services and General Manager of the EMSTF with effect from 31 March 2024. Mr Poon takes charge of our Regulatory Services and Trading Services to ensure E&M safety for the public and provide a wide range of E&M engineering services to government departments and public organisations. He leads the Department to actively put forward quality, diversified and cost-effective services which are tailor-made to cater for our clients’ needs; as well as enforcing ordinances and regulatory works related to E&M, gas and railway safety and energy efficiency to safeguard public safety and promote energy saving and emission reduction. Under Mr Poon’s stewardship, we strive to maintain close liaison with clients and stakeholders to listen to their views in order to pursue continuous innovation and enhancement of the public services.
